After a great time ab diving and striper fishing with Scwafish, I'm headed back north to see how you throw a kayak fishing tourney CenCal style. What do you know, Big Sur is on my way. I'm hitting it Saturday morning, Friday night too if I make good time. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Oh Yeah! I know Big Sur well - fear of losing my favorite fishing hole is a major reason I'm doing what I am with the KFASC. Good luck in Mex Sean!

Sean... I wish you and your family a great time down in Mexico.
I'm so damn envious.   If you plan to go again next year, be sure to let me know way in advance, so my wife and I can book the same dates.   I'm pretty sure we're going next year.

I'm going next year too.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.

Does anyone know what the weather and currents will be like at Limekiln? If they were as favorable as last time, might try to swing another trip just before the derby.

Thanks,
~Elric

Check the NOAA forecast.

Pigeon Point to Point Piedras Blancas.
The winds gonna be up, but should be doable in the morning.
I'll also be doing a trip down there the following weekend. Keep in touch and let me know whats up.
