With RCG closing soon and bay fishing upon us, I need to buy another grapnel anchor and wanted your advice on which weight size . Thanks in advance

I ended up finding a 5lber and put a 3lb chain, would of preferred a 7.5lber with a smaller chain.  Amazon if I recall, I like up to 10lbs of anchor to hold in the bay, but do far 8lbs is doing well

Thx Eddie.  On my previous anchor, it wasn't enough, so I zip-tied one of my diving belt weights to fill the need

i run a 5 pound anchor with 5 feet of chain and have never had an issue with it not holding anywhere yet.

Same for me. I've set mine up so I can use the chain or the anchor alone or both together depending on what current and wind I expect.
