Hey Guys and Gals,
What kind of Kayak would recommend for a 6'2 170 pound guy? I am on a budget, but am working!
Up to 500 dollars, more possibly! Thank you for looking at my post, and please let me know your opinion!
Sincerely,
Julian

Depends on what kind of fishing you want to do, but something like this Prowler 13 (posted 2 days ago) would be nice.

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/boa/d/ocean-kayak-prowler-sit-on-top/6232799290.html

Has 2 flush mount rod holders, cargo space, should be fast enough to get out after salmon when they're close to shore.

weimerian posted one for sale on facebook today that would suit you.  WS commander 12.  Keep your eye out for used boats on here, several come up for sale.  You need 10 posts to see that forum though, so get to posting.  EIght more posts, make sure they are reasonably substantive and not simple "Nice fish!" 8 times.  that is frowned upon.

You would do well to demo several boats to see what you like.  I don't know where you can do that in your area but i'm sure someone will chime in.
