I'm heading to Lake Berryessa on Tuesday for some bass fishing.  I'll be launching out of Capel Cove ramp fishing up Capel Creek amongst the flooded trees.....looks "bassy"!  I'll be launching around 6 AM.....come join me if you wish.

Interested to hear how you did?
I've been thinking of hitting that same area.

I launched at 6 and instantly had FF failure....fixed that and headed up Capel Creek only to find no fish interested in my offerings so I headed back into the lake.  The wind had come up to around 10-12 so I started throwing the spinner bait with mild success.....one at 12 inches and another at 17.  I fished within a quarter mile of the boat ramp until noon when my seat back strap broke on one side allowing me to recline "all the way".....at this point with the FF failure, the wind now gusting to 15 and the seat malfunction I figured it's time to pull the plug.  You might find fish in Capel Creek but I think you need to finesse fish them.  Good luck.

We spent a few hours in the trees a couple weeks back with no luck. The fish in there must be full.
