curious you say you caught it in monterey bay however the beginning looks like capitola?

Locals only Foo !  :smt005 It actually looks like the lighthouse side of Santa Cruz pier.

well i guess its "Monterey Bay", it could be Soquel Cove as well ;) I guess technically it is Monterey Bay or shoot lets just say Pacific Ocean haha

Bait buttons are way cool. I use two. Put one on first to hold bait on the bend of the hook (circle of course) then attach bait (chovie, dine) then add second bait button. Check out holy molly outdoors bait buttons on youtube
