I'm pretty sure the departed missed the message, as with the dozen or so others in the past year I've read about as well.  They decided their machismo or comfort was more important to them than the well-being of others being forced into action to rescue or recover them. 

This is what my problem is with it:

I'm at the point now , even as an old Navy Corpsman and former E.M.T. , wear one , don't wear one ..But I aint helping unless it's a child.

I read your thread Allen , got no problem with it..As far education..It's attraction rather than promotion . Like many other things in life it's a choice.

Thought I'd just post it as lesson in bad choices 😉
