I'm pretty sure the departed missed the message, as with the dozen or so others in the past year I've read about as well.  They decided their machismo or comfort was more important to them than the well-being of others being forced into action to rescue or recover them. 

This is what my problem is with it:

Multiple agencies participated in the rescue effort, but attempts to revive the man were unsuccessful, fire officials said.

Don't put others at risk for your own sake when it can be so easily preventable.

I read your thread Allen , got no problem with it..As far education..It's attraction rather than promotion . Like many other things in life it's a choice.
