I thought they said they weren't doing them anymore? I saw this on there Facebook site.. Quote:

An arial shot of the Islander Islander Charters, Inc. and a few Hobie kayakers on our recent San Clemente Island trip. There are not many kayak monthership trips like this one, and there is a reason we sell out every year. Don't worry we are already working on adding multiple trips for the 2018 season

Nobody ever said they weren't doing trips anymore. The Islander did three kayak trips this year, I think.

There was no NCKA trips this year because we couldn't get enough people to cough up the extra dough that they quoted us this year.

The trips that did go out were two 1.5 day and one or two 2.5 day.

And those trips were listed at quite a bit lower than what we were quoted.  :smt011

BTW - A few of us will be on a 3.5 day offshore trip on the Islander at the end of this month. We'll see what the deal is for mothership trips next year.

Yeah, there was. It was used to justify the price increase, not the cancellation of all trips.  :smt002

Took me a second to process the handle and ID.  Aren't you one of those pilots from the SF Flight that went down short of the runway?
