Lake Hennessey Video Report

I paid a visit to Lake Hennessey for the first time on June 17th. It was a calm, quiet and very peaceful place to paddle and do some fishing. I saw many kayak anglers and small motor jon boats enjoying their time on the water. Enjoy the video.

Nice video. Hennessey is the lake I fish most often. This year the amount of bluegill and crappie are unreal. Some pigs taken out of there too. Early spring I loaned my scale to a boater, 11.23 lbs largemouth. Send me a PM if you ever want to fish Hennessey again.

It was your reports that got me interested in Hennessey. I would have posted a hookup but it was a last second decision. I'll surely send a PM next time.

great video, now I want to go back. last time I was there was for HOW event and I did not get to fish much.

 

I just picked up a 0wt flyrod that would be perfect for sunfish   

The bite peter out later in the Summer?  I'd probably be another four to six weeks out.  Archery deer is right after that.
