Was thinking about trying this lake for smallmouth. Does anyone fish this lake regularly? And do you have any tips (locations, lures, etc.)

I have never been but I do know they have a consistent trout stocking going on. Almost weekly. Look up their Facebook page and ask around. I'd throw trout imitating swimsuits but I've never been there.

For what it's worth...
I've fished Pardee for twenty five years, although never for smallmouth, mostly Kokanee and trout on occasion. I've seen the bass boats all over the lake, mostly fishing the rocky points and dropoffs in the main lake. Lots of people fish the narrows between the marina and the main lake. There are some islands that come up from deep water and should be under about twenty to thirty feet underwater near the eastern shore about a mile from the marina/narrows area that may be worth checking out. Also, the rock wall a short ways up the river arm will have boulders in about thirty feet of water and seems like good smallie habitat.

I've heard trolling rapalas, tossing crankbaits, and drop shotting plastics all work well there. Good luck, looking forward to reading a report.

Thanks for the input! If I end up going out there this weekend, I'll let you know how I do.
