Anyone know where I can find a replacement belt clip for my Standard Horizon 460 VHF? Northbay?

That's funny... I'm looking for the same exact thing for the same radio.  The part that's hard to find is the button and stainless steel screw that secures it to the back on the radio.

Mike... if you already have that "button" part and just need the clip part, then I have one for you.

Great Chuck got the button just need the clip. It sure would be nice for them to make a clip that had a release you had to push instead of just rotating I know of a few radios that it would have saved. But I guess they wouldn't sell as many radios.

I E-Mailed Standard and explained how I lost my clip, and asked them where I could get a new one and the problems I and others had with the clip(when you rotate 180 degrees the radio comes off). They got right back to me and told me they had an extra that they would send me. The new one has been modified and the Radio now locks into the clip you have to pry the release clip to separate them now  :smt007 Nice Job.

The mod is to the little button not the clip itself, if you have the old one look at the little button and the little knob inside the ring has a taper to it that pushes the spring the new one has no taper. Looks like it you just dremel the taper off the old style it won't come off.

Chuck if you want my old button and screw PM me your address.

Yep, I lost a radio because of that lame clip design. I usually secure the strap to my vest but forgot to do it that day. I'll have to look at modding the clip so it doesn't happen again.
