Took my PA12 out to Lexington this morning. I'm not much of a lake fisher but I wanted to test out the new kayak. Plus West Marine is having a great sale for the 4th and I picked up a new PFD, marine radio and some other junk. So it was good to test stuff out while I'm waiting for the ocean and weather to cooperate.

Didn't know about all the fees: kayak launch fee. Kayak inspection fee. Parking fee. Still had a great time. One bass. One catfish.

Nice! I live just up the hill from Lexington, so let me know if you stop by again---I can bring my AI and you can give it a try if you'd like.

Yes, the fees at Lexington are crazy, but at least you can save the parking fee if you park along the road.
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Cool, will do! I'm thinking about paddling out to the mile buoy tomorrow morning. But if it's windy and wavy I might just do Lexington again to get more water time.
