We were thinking of fishing on Sat 7/8 the wether said it would b 5ft at 6 seconds, is that worth the 2 hour drive to check out.

100% no go. 5@6 sec is really bad.
That's a great diving period swell.  I would be more worried about the wind.

The forecast I'm seeing for Saturday the 8th is 6'-7.5' at 8 seconds with 10-15 mph wind.

The website that I am looking at is national weather service, and now it's saying 6 at 8 with 20 not wind that seems above my pay grade
