I bought a Pro Angler around July August last year.  Was promised -with an additional fee and the trade in of the stock drive  - a reversing drive when they were available in March of this year.  Well it's June and I keep hearing Hobie doesn't have them.  But they areselling them on new boats everyday???

I like the dealer here in Sac - I've bought a few boats from them.  But I'm getting nervous about somebody keeping this commitment.  And yes it's in writing.  Is anyone out there in the same situation?  I did see a post on this topic a few months ago but can't search it out.  Would love to know how many of us are out here waiting for the trade to take place.

Not interested in any lawyer stuff because you just end up in the same spot - but now you've spent a bunch of money for nothing.

I don't want to fight with anybody I just want to get this resolved.  So... if you're in the same situation would you let me know?  Or if you got your trade as promised let me know as well - maybe I just haven't been enough of a squeaky wheel....

You can buy the parts and convert it yourself if you're interested in that.

A lot of times a new and hot item is hard to get, they come with the boats from the manufacturer, now getting it as a individual part will take time because it's in such high demand, also the shops that sell more boats or push more hobies will get more of the part(s) and get them first, just like when they came out with the limited edition outback,if the shop was lucky they might get one and where other shops got their hands on more then one.id wait a little longer and see what happens
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it
