Need advice on where to stay in Oakland for catching a flight next day

Will be flying out of Oakland at 1015AM on a Sunday and want to get to Oakland Saturday evening and leave my car at the hotel for a week. 

Anyone have good info on options?

A secure place to park that is cheap would be ideal.  I'm thinking Uber or taxi to airport...

Best Western Plus on Hergenberger was convenient and clean for a good price, but the whole area there is pretty sketchy.  We left our car for 2 weeks, i asked the attendant if it was safe and he replied "hey man, it's Oakland, ain't nuthing safe!".

Eric - I too have heard good things about that Best Western. As far as leaving your car somewhere, that's gonna be tricky. Unfortunately even the good neighborhoods in Oakland have problems with break ins... (The area near the airport is NOT one of those "good" areas).

We park at espresso parking near the airport and they shuttle you to and from the airport for like $10 a day. easy peasy. Guaranteed safe. AAA discount
