HOW Shasta 3rd Event 2017 Aug 11 or 18

We had a great event yesterday. Not a lot of fish caught but seemed to be enjoyed by all and the veterans were very appreciative.

Thanks again to all who helped out yesterday.

Our next event is (tentative) Aug 11 or 18, which are Fridays but we may hold on Saturday if we can find launch/picnic area not overrun by swimmers and boaters.

For next event we are expecting up to 22 veterans.

FYI, the same contact at VA who works with the group of Veterans here in Redding area has a group in Chico/Oroville. She has asked if we can hold an event in that area. We will be discussing with NorCAl HOW, possibly a joint event in Sept or October.
