My drysuit's zipper gave up the ghost. Any ideas on where I can get it replaced?  It's made by Musto, and I ain't going to ship it to England for a repair, as their website suggests.

I've seen some diy videos with heat and glue.  Would you accept this challenge?

Nahh... I already used videos to replaced the latex collars, booties, and neck gasket myself once, but the zipper seems way too structural for just glue.  Looks like it might require stitching.

It's a "MUSTO" suit that I bought used off of CL.  Kokatat only repairs their own brand... which is why I'll be getting one of their suits next (if I can't get this one fixed for a reasonable price).  :smt003

If the Fremont place doesn't work out, you might try contacting Musto to see if they have any recommended repair places in the US.

Please note, that we currently cannot replace glued seals or drysuit zips. However, this can be carried out by approved repair centres, whose details we are happy to supply.

Curious as to what dive shop your talking about. Didn't know there was one in Fremont.

I've got a Kokatat and they replaced the zipper for free---and I didn't even know it was broken. Great company to deal with.
