Tempting, but maybe later in the season. One of these days I'll get up there and fish that lake--I've heard great things about it.

How its level given our so to be called official drought? The word on Mendo is a sad thing.

Mike,

I'd like to join you... I need to work the kinks out of my downrigger setup pre-ocean trolling.  What are you fishing for?

Yo, mickfish, if I weren't going to a wedding in Santa Barbara for the weekend, I'd join you at Lake Sonoma. I just love that place, fish or no! I look forward to your report.

I troll crank baits or crocs. My neighbor is a guide and fishes the lake a lot fished today and the LMB bite was slow but he caught quite a few smallies in the 15" range a one at 21"  :smt007 thats what I am after. He said the steelies were on top in the am chasing bait fish.

Hey Guys,

Ben... I'm done with BP until next winter.

Mike... how's the Yorty Creek arm in the wind?  I know there's some LMB (SMB??) action and the launch is nice... no fast PBs.  I might try there if you guys are up for it, otherwise I'll probably just stay home.  The main body of the lake is probably going to be undoable... and the WAF account can always use a deposit.

I'm going to finish adding some stuff to the yak and get the rest of my gear together, just in case.  Let me know... I'll check here before leaving tomorrow.

I'm going to give it a shot at the main lanch at about 7:30, if its too windy I'll hit the river or one of the lakes at river front park.
