I'm getting ready to buy a PA 14 and was looking at different bed extender options.  Came across the Boonedox T-Bone and thought it looked nice.

Does anyone have one?  What do you think?

Thanks.

Bill

I saw two at the Shasta event and the guys who had them said they really liked it. They also had PA's. I am getting one soon and will use it on my Tacoma, so I don't have any input on it yet.

It's a heck of a lot better than the Harbor Freight one that I have especially if you frequent salt water in your kayak.  One little scratch in the steel ones and you'll have a rusty bed extender in no time that will add to the amount of scratches on your hull everytime you load and unload.  I currently have a piece of carpet zip tied to mine to combat the gouges in the plastic but its really just compounding the rusting issue.  My next one will definitely be the Boonedox.  Also, the curved lower bar keeps you from dragging the tail when pulling in and out of parking lots or drive ways that have some angle to them.

I don't own one, but if i was to buy one, it would definitely be the boonedox. I have a steep driveway and i'm sure i'd be scraping bottom if i had the HT one.

I own one. I love it. It's really well built and sturdy. I load my Outback into the bed of my small S-10 just fine. It hangs maybe two feet off the back but that's what straps are for. It's got two places to latch your straps on as well. I'd buy one again if I ever needed it in a heartbeat.

I have one and absolutely love it. I use it to haul around my PA 14.  Very well built, easy to assemble and very stable while transporting the kayak.
