Santa Cruz South, late report

Drifted around on Friday for nothing. I had squid on a short halibut type rig trying for some rock cod. I drifted around sponge bob (the buoy is gone) and around the mile buoy. 0 bites. Then the wind came up and tried to blow me to Monterey. I had a two mile paddle back to where I launched from against 20 mile and hours winds. Atleast I got a better workout then I bargained for but fishing in Santa Cruz was kinda slow this time around.
