Recent Mtn. Lion activity.  My neighbor down at the end of our small street apparently lost their cat a few nights ago to a Mtn. lion that killed it on their deck outside their front door.  This happened in Felton, up in the "Forest Lakes" community.
I know the big cats are here, (Have photo of one in my yard from a few years ago)  Their property is 150 yards down the street from us.
Could easily have been us, as our cats are in & outdoors all the time :smt009  We try to bring them in every night, but they are cats! You know, "Dogs have owners, Cats have staff" can't ring any truer for us.

We have them here in Chico.  Last year with the drought and lack of water in Chico Creek, had one come up the dry creek bed from the Sacramento River.
