hello - I'm floored at the number of kayaks i see salmon and rock fishing.  i dint own a boat, never will, and the friends i have that own boats are weekend warriors, and then only have a few hours because they gotta be back for whatever reason.  i live in SF and hope to get one of those fancy Hobie's and fish HMB and south, SF Bay, and even Whistle if conditions permit.  i worked at Spot X Beach for awhile and would crack up at you'all schlepping your gear down, but then saw the fish you brought back.  I secretly watched where you went, and realized no sane captain would take his boat there!

cheers, Darren
