SCR 04-06-2007

I took the day off because my little one's daycare was closed. He bugged me all morning to take him fishing so... off we went. We dropped off Jr at school, took care of some chores and off to the lake. Got there around 12:30ish. The water level is still kind of low. We hunted bass for a while... nada. Paddled up and down that place. Ethan had fun looking at the turtles, scarring the ducks on the water, playing with the night crawlers... we even saw a mama bobcat with her cub out towards the back. After the sight seeing tour, I decided to switch it up and try for trout. A guy in a boat said that there was a plant last Wed. Sounds good to me... Put on some lures and started to troll. Then it happened... long story shorts, Ethan ended up with a limit while Daddy got skunked.
