I'm in....my sister lives in Tomalas and I lived there know it well. I will be rockfishing if the ocean is flat .  I will came and kayak with you for sure.

To give  you guys an update on tomales, water split down rhe channel by hog island, on side mud and 58 degrees, other side fairly clean green and 53 degrees and the jacksmelt are pilled up in there, gunna need a few more weeks to clean up that warm water.   I live in point reyes so i fish it daily  after work when the flatties are in.  And its  defiantly not ready yet
 I filled the boat with smelt for the rockfish opener next week and the bay was like glass in the AM.   Remember to watch out for the NW wind that picks up around 1 pm on the bay, its not deadly, but it gets real nasty real quick unlike the forcast predicts sometimes.

Thanks for the report .I plan to just have a good time and good vibes.butts are always a pain my main concern is Leo's last few years I've seen tons of leopard sharks in the shalows. When I was bank fishing  This time of year I'm hoping I get a nice night bite and day time halibut drifts . I plan to drift the hole bay around Marshall area  so my GPS looks like a checkerboard in search of thoes Halibut's. I got word a good size but was caught last week .but it's good to hear your report since your local thanks agin for up datae
