Thank you to all the NCKA anglers and volunteers who participated in the Shasta Bass Kayak Classic. We had 70 anglers, 363 fish logged and some great competition on Lake Shasta. This was the first ever kayak fishing tournament on Lake Shasta, unfamiliar water and great anglers made for some fierce competition over two days. It was fun to watch.

Congratulations to Sao Vue he took first place and chose the 2017 Hobie Outback, not far behind was Naoaki Ikemiyagi he will be representing us all at Hobie Fishing Worlds 7, we don't know the place (somewhere in the world is all we know  :smt003) and we don't know the dates yet, (will be announced early fall) but we will all be following closely.

You can check out full leaderboard here: http://ianglertournament.com/tournament/leaderboard/1473?day=03%2F25%2F2017&dayEnd=03%2F26%2F2017

Thank you to our sponsors! Headwaters Adventure Company for hosting, Hobie Fishing for making this a qualifier and we had some great giveaways from Lowrance, GoPro, Scotty, NRS, Pacific Outfitters, Phils Propellers, Action Hats, Ego, Neverlost Gear, Thule, Fish Sniffer, Branson Baits, IceMule Coolers, Shasta Bass Baits, B&B RV, Light Tackle Trolling Chesapeake Bay, Kayak Angler Magazine, ProCure, Bridge Bay Resort, Let'um Buck Custom Baits.

A couple pictures so you can see what it was like and plan for next year.
