Hey guys, where is a good place to buy a wetsuit in Sonoma or Solano county? I know of a couple of places in Sonoma County, but they don't have any online stores. I would obviously go try on anything before buying, but I want to at least see what they have to offer before dragging my carcass out to them. I work in Solano County and it wouldn't be hard to get look at some over my lunch break, but a Google search didn't provide me with anything. Any ideas on where to buy or tips on what type of wetsuit I should be looking for?

if you are just looking for a farmer john, rei carries the nrs ones, good starting point, if you are looking for a full suit then there is a dive shop over on the frontage roar of 101 between steele and college, cameron

Didn't know REI had wetsuits. Yea I see that place everyday off of 101 on my way home, they have a decent selection?

Try Clavey Paddlesports in Petaluma.  I bought my wetsuits and dry suits there.  Great place!

Thanks for the info Sailfish, their website is at least what I was hoping for. Question though, I was planning on getting a Farmer John style, but eventually want to do some Ab diving, is there a type of wetsuit that has the farmer john style pants, but also has a top that I can put in the hull until I want to put it on and dive? What would that be called?
What do some of you divers do? Just suck it up and paddle with the top on the whole time?

Yes those exist.  It's a two piece combo wetsuit.  I got one online, wetsuit warehouse I think.

This looks like a good option! One problem, how do I pee without injuring/embarrassing myself? HAHA :smt044

If I am diving I wear top and bottom and if it gets warm I just jump in the water or pour some water down my neck opening.

I got my Farmer John at the place off the freeway there in Santa Rosa.  Salesman was helpful and low pressure.  They rent suits and sell diving accessories there too.  They carry a few brands.  I got an Aqua Lung.  They have high and lower end stuff and a changing room to try them on.  When I was there, a few years ago, they had a rack of used suits too.

I would go check out the rip curl outlet in Santa Cruz I've scored some super deals on my regular surf suits and have seen a lot of suits that would be great for kayaking
