Wife keeps me busy on week ends if I'm not out in the wilderness

Here's some tentative rules, suggestions of rules;
1. Start time is 11am
2. Swag bag to include Ensure
3. All participants MUST diaper up!  No exceptions.
4. Hearing aids are allowed
5. So are cigars and whiskey

I'm not sure of all your requirements, Jerry, but one that should be required and was left out is:    Must be cantankerous.

Remember this guy?  He's the epitome of cantankerous!  Ha!

Careful about crowing too much about being retired and getting to fish any time. The rest of us working stiffs may have you relegated to a newly created retiree column!

In my case I'd rather be working then retired, just wish I could fish more then my body allows.

Pure truth right there.  When you are a kid, you have plenty of time and physical ability but no money to do it with and no transportation.  As an adult, you have the physical ability and hopefully the money but lack of time due to work.  As an old fart you have the time and hopefully the money but tend to lack the physical ability.

I drug my kayak up the side of a hill yesterday, my back feels it today.  I've been backpack bowhunting the Yolla Bollas since 1984 and I'm 54 now.  Last year I hiked 35 miles to get my deer out.  My back, shoulder, hip and knees probably won't allow that by the time I'm 60...or sooner.

Play hard, age early.
