While I question the caption and weight, the catfish appears to be a Wells Catfish which grow incredibly large. The person in the picture also appears to be this guy who is known to catch large Wells Catfish http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/enormous-20-stone-catfish-caught-with-fishing-rod-in-italy-after-40-minute-boat-battle-10069898.html

That's just too crazy....
