Long-range trip, anyone?

A friend can't has to back out of the July 10-17 trip on the Independence and is trying to find a replacement. If the office books the spot, he loses $250 part of his deposit. He was supposedly to be sharing the deck level stateroom with me. Whether that is is good or bad is debatable.    Anyway, it is trip 1712 on the Independence out of Point Loma in San Diego. Anyone want to go for good food and good fishing? Last year, we got into yellowtail limits (for 30) and lots of wahoo. One fellow even hooked two sailfish.
