Headed to Tomales saturday to find a flatty.  Launching at Nick's Cove, drifting hog Island.  Anyone?  Erik...thats pretty close!  I will be with Jr. and a co-worker.  Channel 69 as always.

I may be out there also. Gold Toyota 4Runner and a Yellow OK Caper.

Depends on if the wind stays down or not.

There's reports of a few flatties being caught already on Fishsniffer.com.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

For those of you who've never been to Hog's Island, bring some cash and stop by for some tasty oysters. Eat em raw, or ask someone who has a bbq going if you could roast some.
It'll be crowded this sat, but i'm sure if the people who've reserved see you pull up on yaks, you could join their party, especially if you've got a nice flattie to share  :smt016

This isn't my group, but this is a GREAT group of people.  Keep checking the boards and an opportunity in your area will come up.

Sorry Sean... Ordinarily I'd be out there with you but I've been out of town all week and need to spend Saturday with the family.

FYI... you'll find a couple of channels (the main channel and a sort of side channel) off to the west side of Hog island.  I've picked up Butts in there before.  Bait is usually easy to come by along the edges of the weed beds with a sabiki.

Have fun and good luck.
