Frank, If the wind and swell/chop calm down there may be some halibut out there.I went out with e2g and sackyak for wideopen dabs in Monterey today, but the weather was kinda sloppy.Cold fog and crossed-up choppy wind swell.

If you want to drive a bit further south we could hit Monterey again for dabs and maks.We could always drift the Capitola mile reef area.I have a feeling it will break open soon, but with the chop I saw today didn't look too conducive to 'buts. What do you have in mind?

Cool...I'm borrowing one of Allen's OK Big Game now so I want to test it as much as possible before I start my tour guiding job with MBK next week.I should be able to get out one or two of those days.
