xmas glee

After spear fishing and ab diving on the Mendocino Coast sometimes we would stop by the Navarro River to rinse off our wet suit in freshwater that we would still be wearing in anticipation of this boody hunt.
 it was like taking ornaments off a Christmas tree but slightly different , we would collect lost lures and spinners out of the snags in the river.
 everyone taking a handful of expensive fishing tackle home. Glee would be in everyone's eyes like a little kid on Christmas.

good memory! Most of my Christmas Booty came in the form of Smokehouse Almonds .... Folks and family knew I loved them so, I'd get a mega ton every year... At about 15-16 yrs old. I ate so many that Christmas, I developed an allergy/sensitivity to them and can't eat them anymore. Still remember the flavor. Still can't eat them. Get some from family and friends every Christmas to this day. My Wife and kids love them... Lifes funny sometimes
