My son and I caught one trout in two hours, and we had a few misses.  Trout caught on power bait.  It seemed like people in kayaks and boats had at least one trout.



When you take a kid fishing make sure there is a lot food, my son always gets hungry when we get to the lake.  When there is no electronics, he uses his imagination.

Nice.  Congrats on getting your son on a fish.

There were quite a few ncka'ers there.  I took my 9 year old daughter, Angela with me.  Its her first time kayak fishing. We ended up with 4 trout.  She is definitely hooked and wants to do it again. 

We were in a Aire tandem.  I think we saw you catch the first one.  We're you trolling?

Yes, me and 4 others.  Bite slowed down compared to my past trips.

Looks like he was getting bored.  We had a lot short bites trolling all day that didn't stick, probably the small DFW kind.  My daughter was glued watching her designated rod.  Didn't complain the entire time.

Great pics and video. Great to see our children's faces when they are happy. Even better when its recorded and viewed later down the road as the get older.
