The surf reports seem doable for both Sunday and Monday and i've been getting skunked trout fishing the east and south bay lately. Need to get my fix of lings in before it's over. Company is always welcome as i'll be heading out of the docks no later than 7am @ both places. Look for the guy in a blue Malibu stealth 14 or let me know if you'd like to meet up.

On a side note: anyone have any news of steelys in the SLR as of this month? Haven't ventured out or for that matter even heard if they've completely shut it down or not. Any news would be good news.

Thanks,
Quintin

I might be able to do SC on Sunday. Let's keep a watch on the forecast and see what happens. I've also been thinking about steelhead, but have not heard any reports.

We went out last Sunday in a PB and the two of us limited on lings between the lighthouse and Natural Bridges.  Saw two kayaks out - maybe someone can chime in.

Noticed that their stomachs were empty when cleaning them.  Good luck!

Yeah, it's supposed to rain pretty good here Thursday and start to clear up Friday but fingers crossed it'll be good to go come the weekend.

Thanks for the report. Makes me itch even more to get on the water. I was planning on starting at mile buoy and making my way to south rock, possibly head toward Natural Bridges if times permits.
