Kayak fishing on the big screen?!?!

Yep that's what I said. I was watching TV last night and swore I saw Ice Cube fishing in a yak on a commercial. I went to the site and it was for real and not just the Corona that was in my hand. Looks like what we're doing got the attention of Hollywood and got put into a new film by Ice Cube, "Are We Done Yet". Albiet it looks like only one scene in the movie and they're in SI kayaks, it's still got the attention of the people.  Mooch, ready for your closeup?

    I hate commercial things.........and Ice-cube don't fish.......what will be next?  they should have consulted us! 

I saw the trailer on TV a few times.  It'll probably scare a few folks from kayak fishing since it shows the kid flipping a sit-inside-yak.  No question about it.  The movie director should have put them on SOT's instead.  Dumb-asses!!!

The paddle is upside down but she is not paddling.  It is simply resting in her lap while she is fishing. 

Damn.....he looks like he's swinging a 4/0 for the trout in that lake. 

I'm not surprised by the poor portrayal of fishing, I am surprised that there was a sequel to the first crappy movie.

     Too funny but, "NANOOK of The North" was one of the reasons I enjoy Kayak Fishing. Great story from 1922.
