Check in the A.M. to see if Heavy fog is rolling in again. Had plans of launching today around 6/630 but was stuck to the pier for safety. NOAA said today would be cleared up along the HMB coast by 8 but really it finally started to clear out around noon. Still had a blast and got two 6 '' + fat rockies.. Dungies being caught were still juveniles on snares/ nets. with one legal by the time I left.

Good luck!

Thanks for the heads-up and well wishes! Wouldn't be the first time I took a long drive with my kayak for breakfast at a cafe. If conditions allow it, I'll report results.

Once again the mighty forces of the workplace have ruined another perfectly good fishing day. But I'm happy to report that my friend soldiered-on without me. I'm not so happy to report that no keeper dungies were taken today. There were some rock crab, but that wasn't the table fare being sought. Some juveniles were pulled, but no keepers in a limited outing. Without the support of a crabbing partner, the trip was cut pretty short. It gets lonely being the only the kayaker on the water - retired people problems... the struggle is real.

gelbyak,  If you ever need a fishing partner, let me know. I have no friends who kayak.

Rnrgeek, you're part of community now! You have literally hundreds of new friends waiting to fish and crab with you. Post a hookup and the let good times roll! I'll certainly let you know the next time I get out on the water. Take care.

Planning on hitting HMB for crabs on Tuesday if forecast holds.
No pedals, no problem.

I would like to join you guys one of these days, I don't know how well but I have hoop nets so I might try that for some crabs.  Hmb looks nice and flat with not much crazy waves.
I think I know what I’m doing?
