We get warnings for blue green algae every year on the eel and klamath rivers.  I did not know that it could survive in salt water and harm aquatic life there.  Interesting link, thanks.

Who eats mussels from inside the San Francisco bay? :dontknow:

I would never eat them from the bay.....there are so many other locations along our coastline that have an abundance of mussels to pick from.

Didn't harvest any last year but am planning on doing so soon. Remember to call the quarantine hotline before going out 1-800-553-4133.

Can't wait to try my Coconut Curry Mussels recipe again  :smt007
