I took my yak out on Wednesday and Thursday and had no love. I got a phone call from Darren ( of the sspermission) and he wanted to go for a walkabout on the Russian today, so I said heck yeah!

We fished around for a while and then....I got a nice hook-up. The hatchery hen looked so nice and silver that I had to bonk her. We fished around for a little while longer and Darren hooked-up, but then it came off. About two minutes later I hooked up a small one and it came off. A few minutes later I hooked into a nice sized hatchery hen, bigger tan the earlier one. She put up a good fight, but I won. I had Darren snap a photo and then I released her as she shot roe all over me.

All in all it was a good day. It kind of got the skunk smell of of me from yesterday.

CHEERS!

Sweet! And nice little piece of river you got there!

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Great fish Dan.  I had a great day on the river even though I lost the only fish I hooked I couldn't have asked for a nicer day and the company was outstanding.

I hope Thursday. I'm planning on launching around 7 am and staying until I land one. (I need the points)
