Ugh my back

Seat on old Hobie sucks. It kills my lower back on a long day (5+ hours day).

Has anyone find the Vantage CT seat help their lower back after the upgrade?
I need feedback before putting my money down for another kayak.

I retired from my last job due to bad back. I had a very nice upgraded seat on my T13, but it still hurt after several hours. I got a 2015 Outback and find no unusual pain after several hours like before. Used 2016 rental Outbacks and Revo can be had for $1700.

I love the AI vantage seat and predator seats. Huge difference.

For AI I'm using boat seat, very comfy

Yeah the advantage is more ergonomic but the quality of the material worrys  me

Very true as I have Lower back, middle back, and neck pain along with nerve damage that shoots pain into my arms. 

I have the new seat and it made a big difference to me.  I am almost never without pain so when one body part gets to bad I can adjust the seat to a more comfortable position.  It allows me to stay on the water longer. 

True about trying before buying. I am going to custom made some foam and see if it helps.
It won't bother me much on anything shorter than 4 hours, but salmon fishing for me usually a long day on the water.

My back and butt really hurt from the old seat but a good cushion helped a lot. Be on the lookout for 2015/2016 models, there should a lot of hobies popping up for sale
