2 of my neighbors talked me into taking them with me today. One hadnt been fishing in years and had never fished for bass. The other had skills and knew the lingo. Neither paddlers.  Took them to the southern haunts that have been pretty unproductive lately but I knew if one of them dumped he could just stand up in the shallows and no gear would be lost.
First fish went to the neighbor who had never been bassin. I had set him up with a spinner bait and sent him to flinging and cranking. Saw him bordering panic when the fish got up to the boat.
After that I nabbed a few on a lipless crank bait and a watermelon/red flk senko then we headed for the B&G. We got teased with the few fish that we had caught and decided to head back out but this time I took them to a more challenging haunt.
This isnt a big area and its hard to be stealthy with just one boat much less 3.
Still it got unhinged. I had 10 in a few hours and they had another 5.
None were beastly but all wanted to battle like they just saw 300.
Most fish were taken on the senko and some on the lipless crank or rip.
