new to ocean and kayaking

Hi!

Relocated to California less than a year ago. Before that was spearfishing all my life in fresh water. Now learning freediving in the ocean, which appears tough. And hunting ocean fish, which is quite easy (compared to freshwater). Recently got kayak, learning that stuff, too. Will be glad to join anyone in weekend dives. Located not far from Santa Cruz.

Welcome aboard.  Ocean diving sure seems easy after doing it for awhile but don't overlook the dangers.  Currents, surge, rocks, waves and predators bigger that you.  Lots of divers down your way that can point you in the right direction.
