Crab Pot Destruct Device question

I was getting my traps ready and saw in the refs that there now has to be a 5" diameter destruct hole. I assumed the holes on my pots were probably 5" but I measured them to check and they are 4.5" in diameter [emoji849]

Does anyone have suggestions for this? I'm guessing I'll have to cut a square that is four squares in size on top to make a big enough destruct hole?! That's a 6 by 6" square!

What type trap do you have?  Quite a few people have posted up about how to modify the promar 102s.

Thank you. I did search destruct device in a couple of the forums but i guess I should have searched the whole website. That IDFG PDF is super handy as I do have a box trap.
