I just picked up a reliable fishing products kayak bag (see link below) and am now faced with the decision of how to mount it to the bow of my outback. I'm leaning towards lashing it down to some pad eyes but I'm interested to hear people's opinions. The bag has three D rings on each side for mounting and is 36" long.

seems like a good price for a Reliable branded bag.  gonna take away all your tankwell space though so it might hurt your storage ability.  i think all these kill bags are targeted best towards other markets where the fish don't have as many spines like our rockfish do.

that being sald, this looks like a good salmon bag for those who are doing all day trips.

Might not be too late to score 3" of insulation at half the price...

Fits nicely behind the seat of my Outback, and makes a cushy back rest. I've had it for a few seasons now and it shows zero wear or damage. Rockfish spines don't hurt it.
