I'm planning on buying a trident 13 but can't find anywhere relatively close to test it. I live in the Dixon area so prefer port of sac, Liberty, montezuma if anyone has one I can test out on a weekend day. I'll bring my yak and can just fish for the day would be awesome so I can try it before I buy.

Not close but if you ever want to fish Shadoe Cliffs or Lake Del Valle you can use mine.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.

Maybe you could trade back and forth allowing you to compare wherever you do it.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.  ~John Buchan

the closest place to try a trident 13 would be adventure sports in big break - but I'm not sure if they carry that model in their store or not.  So you should give them a call.

That being said - the newer model Trident 13s would be different than the older ones.  I'm assuming you're asking to try out the older model and not the newer models which are being released this year. I don't know if they're in stores or not yet, call your local dealer.

Make sure you get one with a rod/mod pod so you have easy hull access.

Where are you planning on buying? I have a 2015 model that hasn't ever touched water. Been sitting in my garage for a year. I started a business & my kids play sports, so I haven't had a chance to take it out. I'm going to be listing it for sale on here soon.
