In a pb out of lakeport. Fished with everyone else just south of lakeport, ripping and heaving Missionfish. Caught a total of ZERO. I suggested to hit the tules east of County Park. Water much clearer here and instantly saw fish in 6' of water, some hogs. Broke out the senko and hooked up first cast. My best for the day was a 5.4, followed by a 4.
Many other boaters, fishing side by side. Didn't matter, they were all ripping and we caught fish after they fished through.
We each landed an easy 10 fish, many fat females.
Wind drove us off the water at 4:30, whitecaps.
I think I'm hitting it tomorrow in the 'yak. I'm launching at county park in the morning.
Spring is here.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

 Mako,
Senkos seem to be the go to lure right now. Ive been throwing the white mission bait alot with no success yet.
Im surprised at the wind report, its calm at the airport today.
Ill be on the water too tommorrow Ill watch for you. Youre in a grey  Hobie Quest right?

If its windy Ill be looking for shelter on the south end, just as hot as the north right now.
