Well Mahi had another day off, and so did I.  We jammed down to the Russian for some AM fishing. We arrived at the river only to see lots of other fisherman :smt009

We jammed down a bit, to find a run without people, and BAM! #1, I had a fish on all the way to me, and when I got her to my net, I scooped her in, and she unhooked.  She then put it in reverse and kindly backed out of my net.  OOOPPSS!

As we moved down, we snuck into the JELLY hole, and BAM!!!!  #2 hooked up.  Fought this one for a while then she just unbuttoned and swam away.  A few minutes later, BAM! #3 this little SOB made it to the bank, and was safely released.

two other guys  snuck into the hole as I got another... BAM!!!#4  I landed her (about 9lbs) and gave her the BONK!!!!  she was full of roe....

Not five minutes later BAM!!!#5  This one was not so kind.  After about 10-15 minutes, I got the 12 lb buck to Mahi for an assisted scoop!!!

Mahi was my personal net dude.  I thought he was gonna kill me.  Then, it was Mahi's turn, he hooked up and caught a nice silver bullet of a steelie and gave it the C&R.  Not two minutes later he is FISH ON again.  This time the release was a little bit quicker, but we gave it a count (two for Mahi)!!!!

FISHIM!!! much to my suprise, these were all caught w/o guts??  The last 6-7 have been hooked w/o any roe....   I did however, buy a small tube of Shrimp (steelhead/salmon) fish gooo, to put on my lures.  "THEY SAY" ( who are they???) that the human scent spooks the fish?  I guess I should wash my hands better after going potty!!!!
