Folsom Lake 8-4 Fishing no Catching

Sorry for the late post but late night to early morning...

I finally decided to hit the water rather than have the kayak sit.  We put in at Rattlesnake for a few hours Thursday evening.  The ramp was closed so had to cross the Sahara to get to the water.  It was one of those times where you really appreciate the seasoned veteran's posts.  My wheelez cart was a train wreck without the modifications that bmb posted for the slayer propels.  Pedaled around the narrows and did a lot of fishing but no catching.  Still better than not being on the water.

Good try bro. Its all about just getting otw and having some fun. Yea folsom is gonna suck now because of the water releases, it messes with the bite. it will probably pick back up when they stabilize and when the lake turns into a mud hole again, probably at the beginning of sept...Yea AR salmon run this year will probably stink. did the 5mph restriction start again?

No the 5 MPH was not in effect yet.  I got to enjoy  the speaker bars from a couple of wakeboard boats.  On a friendly not one they saw us fishing they idled down and left the area. 

Why do those people with speakers feel compelled to inflict their bad music on us?

We were at Folsom on Sunday, it seemed like 50% of the boats launching were wakeboard boats with lots of speakers . water is dropping 

Forgot to add that this was at Granite Bay launch.
