Damn nice Keith for this weekend too?

His boat is down this week, but when it's up and running he's gonna give me a call. Maybe we can do like  a four person trip with him too: You, me, herb, Tim.
He's a private charter but he will put in the effort and get us on fish, or so is his reputation. I'd rather pay a little more and get a personal experienced charter vs. cattle boating it.

Not.....the New Seeker.  First cattle boat I'd been on in 20 years, a good reminder of why I don't go on them.

I haven't fished on a cattle boat in several years. When i did I had a good time and caught my limits.
Now, It's hard tho get on a cattle boat, maybe a six pack with a good skipper, a friend with a boat or kayak.
At the coast today for severL days. Nice to get out of the heat.
Be safe and have a great one.

I don't think any charter boats in the area has an open spot for this weekend.  :(  I wish I could find my kayak soon.

I've caught some salmon on the New Easy Rider, but I can't say I'd recommend it. They'll put you on fish, but... They don't bring ice on board. If you happen to bag a fish at 7:30 in the morning, it will marinate in an uncooled fish box until 5:00...

That's kindof a deal breaker for me. If I'm paying $125+ for a day of fishing, the least they can do is bring some ice for my catch.
