Hi everyone, my name is Toan (tone), just got my membership approved to join to club. Just wanted to say hi to everyone and hope to get to meet you guys on the water. I am new to kayaking, just bought a 2016 hobie outback, added on sail rudder, and installed a hook 4 ff/gps to it so far. I live in San Jose. I've had a hand full of different kinds of boats for the last 15 years, now I want to try the new challenges of kayak fishing.

Welcome to the madness Toan  :smt006. I get rid my boat long time ago and never lookback.

Welcome to the madness!

I own a power boat but I find kayak fishing more relaxing and exciting.

Welcome Toan. The Monterey Bay is nearby.

Funny thing that they still have not approved my membership...

I sure miss my boats but I sure don't miss the" Bust Out Another Thousand" part of owning one. I hope go get out on the water soon. It's busy season right now with my daughters bday coming up and me leaving town in a couple weeks for my bday. Hopefully I can get on the water in about 3-4 weeks. I'll definitely check on the "hook ups" section so I can meet up with some experienced fisherman. Yeah Monterey's about 1hr 10min drive for me. Not bad

Welcome! I grew up in San Jose. Where do you usually fish?
