They are in the process of filling the lake(with water) for the up coming season Fishing is slow. They did plant 750lbs last Wednesday.I hooked 7 last Friday took home 2 average size 14in and a 16in. Have found that my 24 volt set up will last 9hrs of continues running at my trolling speed.Bank fishing is also slow.Best lure was a fire tiger needlefish and a rapala shad rap(bleeding hot olive. New this year) at 18ft on the downrigger.Persaverance was my plan of attact. 7am till 4pm.Water was a brownish color.Lots of skum from the banks because of the rising water.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the up date.  I was going to give it a try on Tues.  Looks like I will go to San Pablo Dam, Del Valle, Chabot or Shadow Cliffs.

Thanks for the tip. I have one of the new green shad raps with red hooks. Haven't had much luch with it toplining but it sure looks cool in the tackle box.
