Hey Sully, another Santa Rosan here. I am usually fishing locally (fresh and salt). Mondays-Tuesday's though. Hit me up if you can fish one of those days.

Where?! Lemme at him!

CptSloppywood, your username is hilarious. I'm actually planning to do some Tuesdays at Lake Sonoma with another kayaker I met on Spring Lake. I'll PM you with at least a day's notice before we put-in, when I do.

Welcome! Keep your eye on the forum threads. Somewhere in here there are 12-step programs for buying boats and gear and for fishing 24/7/365. I am still, thankfully, unable to find them.
Warning! Retiree; Knows it all and has plenty of time to tell you about it.

Great handle gonesquatchin! Sounds like you and your kayak hit it off pretty good. Kayaks do end up a lot like a girlfriend consuming most of your thoughts time and money. A lot less awkward though when your buddy wants to take it out for the weekend. Welcome. I'm gonna call my mom and see if she has an outback laying around the house waiting for me to love. I'm gonna be pissed though if it doesn't have the new seat

Welcome
You wont have a problem finding people to go out with. If you plan on doing some ocean fishing there is a lot of us from Sonoma county to go with also

Thanks! I would love to go ocean fishing, but I blew a peddle yesterday while hauling ass on 3 lakes. I fixed it right there in the water, but I feel like I should keep an eye on it for a while.
